There something that animators and illustrators guidlines didsn't mention
I know this is perry dawn obvious but I was just reading both the animators and illustrators guidlines and they didsn't mention that people need to drew as close to Mato style as possible when auditioning. I think this is something that's need's to be in both guidlines. Like the closer they can drew in Mato style the better.

Good point. 'Cause we want the animation to be consistent throughout the whole arc...And we know we'll be able to get good animators fit hey can draw well in a way that is not their own style.

The reason I didn't put that on the guidelines as a main point is
1. It will most definitely be a factor that will scare people away if they don't think they can do it. If people think 'well, I can't draw in Mato's style, so...'
2. It ISN'T 100% necessary that you be able to draw in Mato's style for all positions. These are guidelines for the people who are interesting on auditioning, those guidelines are there to inform auditioners of the basic skills they will need to have BEFORE they can be accepted. I will accept somebody whether or not they are able to draw in Mato's style, as changing your style isn't easy, and it's something that we can work with them on as already a part of the team.
Let me emphasize that here, we are looking for basic skills and abilities. We can work with the auditioners AFTER they are accepted and already helping to improve on their consistency. (I don't know about Aki, but that's what I think, and put into practice in the Illustration team.)
Also, just to let you know, think of the animators. You can't expect them to always know how to work in a style that isn't there's for complicated movements. And I'm not going to be picky with the animators that audition here for that minor detail. We have to be able to bend a little here, and that's what the sketch artists are for. Making it so we aren't too hard on the animators.
