Just a thought for more support

So I was pondering about something and I thought I might just throw a suggestion out here. I know we're trying hard to find voice actors and more people for our team. So maybe as a form of gaining help why not focus more on creating the episodes with full animation but no audio and little music to build up some publicity. I figure it might save time and attract more people to join and want to help as well as possible voice actors who work a bit more professionally. I know this is kinda breaking away from normal procedures of animation (seeing as how the voices are normally recorded first then the animation is made) but I think as a start, this method might work a little better for us in the recruiting department. We'd just add subtitles and request more help. So any thoughts on this?

Voice actors are no problem, we have tons of them... It's the animation department that's lacking. So it's kind of backwards.^^;

Yeah, but the whole entire main cast has been inactive for months. We have many interested but the voice team seems to be very inactive and I understand it's due to real life. We have to wait a lot longer for the voices and sounds to be added into the animation due to all the critiquing and editing we have to do. I meant that we should direct our focus to animation alone, doesn't even have to have color. Just to produce something for fans and create a visual of what we're trying to do.

We had some storyboards on Aki11's channel it didn't really do much for our cause. :/
But don't worry the vice team is quite active. They just don't have work yet...

Aki's video was the reason I joined this project. When I joined this had many users so excited for the project and it was when her video was first uploaded fully animated and everything. People posted a ton of topics and kept re-auditioning and it was very lively. Now it's a very inactive forum with little staff keeping it alive. The updates were the reason we were moving forward. But once we cut off keeping the fans informed people lost interest and many people think this project is dead, I made friends with many of them.

We did the Pokemon Special Special show, does that count?
We'll probably have another one coming out soon.

Yeah it's attracted more, but I think we should include clips of the actual anime itself. I like Orange and Violet, but they aren't poke special characters. So I think people who take only a glance at it might see it more as a fan made only video rather than see that it's a video to promote Pokemon Special.

We don't have anything. ^^;

That's why I'm suggesting to make something xD Sad scenes, funny scenes something simple but looks like an update.(Doesn't have to actually be and update, just an eyecatch)

We don't have a background artist so our pictures are limited to the ones like on the top of the page.

I didn't say they had to be colored.

But if they read this, then they'll know it's fake...
I guess we can show our concept art.

Well fake or not it'll show we're doing something and not leaving the project behind. Especially if we can finally finish one episode.

The main reason I don't release information is that I'm waiting until its almost complete. I don't want to give empty promises or say tht we've begun an then not. So when we're truly ready we'll give information.

What? I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about teasers. Little scenes of other Archs that advertise the project to gain support. Not giving out info, just throwing out random animations here and there to keep the YT channel active.

We had this suggested before but we decide to save our efforts for the real deal.

Eh. If I get better at animating I'll even take the liberty of doing this if it'll gain viewers and supporters.

i think the same, a teaser would be good but only a "Teaser of the project" with that, the animators dont make promises to anybody, and the people watch some animations.

Is there a team with the necesary resources? or maybe the same team of pokemon special special show?

And other thing, i think that is time to show something ! 3 years have passed since the creation of the webpage, and in my country there some animators that want to help with this project to make it faster, if the project doesnt be now, when?

We only have one animator so if you know any, please tell them to audition.

@guest what about creating a facebook page? It'll help reach out to people. But if not I can understand I'm just throwing that one out there.

Yeah man! i said this in the forums and one person said me that is a sin! xDDD but i think that a facebook´s secret group with some people would be awesome to organize this.

Yeah, we had a really huge battle over possible copyright issues and someone trying to get us to ask Nintendo, Pokemon USA, and whoever else worked on Pokemon, so I'm thinking the amount of ridiculous claims of us all going to jail over this made people not even think of creating a page. But hell the fanime for Vocaloid has its own page as well as other fanime projects.
