Storyboards (advice on flow of story?) Empty Storyboards (advice on flow of story?)

Well since I'm part of the staff now I guess I shouldnt be posting topics in the audition forum anymore=w=;;; sorry for the previous inconvenience caused><

so yea i did a bunch of storyboards, they are like 5 pages long and friggin sketchy especially when it comes to the ending pages. So before you read em' please get ur manga chapter ones' ready and reference from thereXD if not you wont know what the heck im drawing. And also since its so rough I'll leave your imagination to imagine what I imagined (k that sounds like a weird sentence...<_<;Wink if you thought there are parts that are not clear or parts that you would like to suggest, or even parts that you think wont work and need to be changed, don't hesitate to say it! I've already shown shen these and so far we agreed that the mew vs charmander scene was too vague, both in the manga and the story board. So we plan to lengthen it. And that the title "vs mew" will be changed to viz's version, "glimpse of the glow", which sounds nicer, and that it will be shifted to be together with the opening song (right after it). Please contribute your ideas, without them we won't be getting anywhere!XDDD

And sorry if I sound like a naggy person and all but if you think you don't really understand storyboards or find them kinda useless, here's my way of explaining how important it is. Inside there is also some animation tips and such since thats one of the most important thing we're doingXD: https://s306.photobucket.com/albums/nn260/HikariNoSekai/?action=view&current=storyboardsandanimation.jpg

So here they are, seriously roughXD; the dialogue is just for reference and some changed dialogues are my suggestions and not necessarily has to be followed.:

okay done. Once we get the storyboard nailed we can pretty much start on the real animation hopefully by the end of this week or next week we'll be able to officially start on the first episode if all goes well>W<

0o Those are really rough. XDDD

I'm gonna see what I can do with them, using that. There was a bunch of stuff you left out, though. We can't animate Red throwing the pokeball and polywhirl popping in front of him like that. The ball has to take time to hit the ground and polywhirl has to pop out. And when Red catches nidorino, the pokeball needs to hit nidorino ect...

And...your handwriting is really bad. ._. I mean, I have horrible handwriting, but...

yep. i did warn about them didn't I?XD and no please dont use them as the actual animation or anything!OAO;; The main point of storyboards is just to help visualize the scene and all and the I'm gonna redraw everything once the flow of the story is fixedC:(and plus, I'm just drawing the storyboards for the moment until we get our storyboard artists. Work still has to be done without them for now since we have to tell people that we are indeed doing stuff and not just talking about empty dreams with big words.) okay I'll take note of that! when's the next meeting for us to discuss the whole episode 1 btw?

yea i know=P when i write using a tablet its even worse than how i write in real lifeXD; thats why i mentioned using the manga as a heavy referenceC: (ps: i'll try to improve on my handwriting, cos even my storyboarding teacher mentioned the same thing orz)

XD I cant really think right now, I'm too sleepy, but I'll reply correctly in the morning. I'll talk to shen about that stuff, and maybe we'll organize a meeting where we'll discuss how we go about stuff so that we can storyboard and script it correctly.

These are very rough but they are the best we got so far. And besides...I wat to start animating already!

But it would be best if you made the drawings better cause i had a hard time telling what was what... Like I couldnt tell if it was red or if it was grass or something... *it was on the last link*... but yeah I think this will do for now
