foley artists

so i noticed there haven't been auditions for foley artists.
do we need them or will we get sound effects elsewhere?

Sound effects definately is an issue, but there arn't that many foley artists on the internet willing to use their skills for free, near impossible to find one of those that likes Pokespe and wants to help make an anime adaption. XD If you know anybody who is good at making and recording sound effects, point them our way, please! XD

i may audition for that eventually but my current mic is terrible

if you're willing to audition, that totally rocks! At the moment, we're considering stealing borrowing sound clips form various sound sites, but most of those sound....weird. So yeah, give it a shot. You really don't have anything to loose.

well when iget around to auditioning should I simply provide sound files and explain what the sound is meant to be,or should i make a video of some sort to demonstrate different sounds?

if you'd like, you can just put what the sounds are in the post that you give them to us in. Also, it'd help to name the sound files after what they're supposed to sound like-- maybe name them off the sounds on the "Needed SFX" list-- and then just put them up somewhere we can listen to em (Tindeck or Box are what people seem to like using the most)

Haha, same here Dirksies. But yeah, Stormy (like that huh?) if you could do some sound effects that would be awesome! We really don't have anyone doing that kinda thing right now. But yeah, deffinately use boxnet or tideck...I don't know if we should make a separate section for this or should he just post them here?

we really need sound effects and all, it's kinda troublesome and everything, especially when it comes to the more complicated sounds... so it'll be great if ya can help us with it>W<
