Hello, I'm Akie.

I've been reading PokeSpe for a while now and love the series. I joined to see how you guys are doing (sense it seems visitors can't see everything) and I might try out for something. (I want to give that opening song a go, my microphone is kind of old though)

I like to draw and plan to be a graphic novelist some day, but until then, I'm just going to try and have fun. ^^

Welcome to the forums Akie. I'm Supernova (a good-for-nothing supporter). Read the rules (if you haven't already; newcomers these days seem to be awfully in the know) and follow them. Audition for the opening song if you want to, and you should probably audition for illustration if you can adapt your style. Your artwork is really nice - very well done on that comic!

Oh, and post your skype/MSN contacts in the relevant thread so it's easier to stay in contact and all that.

Supernova does have a point, skype and/or msn is beneficial for the meetings we have for the project (though we haven't had one recently, nonetheless, it's still a good idea)

though you don't HAVE to, it would be great if you did!

I don't know what goes on in MSN, but Skype is definitely something you should get. I got it exclusively for the project; it's got a lot of useful stuff that we can use. And we definitely need to have a meeting soon. XDD

I have a question about programs. What type of program is preferred to be used? (I have photoshop, manga studio, and toon boom)

What version of Photoshop do you have? We use Paint Tool SAI for most things, because the lineart is changeable, but Photoshop works too. ;3

I have Photoshop Element 5.0.

It's kind of old. XD;;;
