Hoping to do what they can...

Ran into this project on Deviantart, bit gaping-shocked. Hoping to help despite total lack of ability for art and such.
Would the company that produces the Manga have some sort of copyright over this kind of project? Or would that only apply much later?

we are kinda like doing this without the permission of the creators, so yea.

Then again it's been years and they haven't attempted something like this.

well, the plan is to go along with the project, hopefully diving below the copyright radar, and continuing on. If we don't get noticed, we just keep on workin'. If we do get noticed and they ask to shut us down, we'll have to comply. Or hopefully, they might just not care. (best case scenario)
