Pokemon Battling
Ok Ok its really not that hard actually. Your probably asking "How do you battle on a forum??"
Well I designed a system in order to do so.
Ok first off you will need this damage calculator:
http://www.metalkid.info/Pokemon/Calculators/Damage.aspx
And this for at least your HP:
http://www.psypokes.com/dex/stats.php
Ok open it up and you will be like.. "How do you work this!?" It's actually very simple and all you have to do is insert your commands and what is happening in battle.
Keep the EPs and IVs the same.
Att Stage, Def Stage, Accuracy Stage, and Evasion Stage changes in battle. So for example If a sandshrew uses a sand attack on my jigglypuff, my jigglypuff's accuracy would become negative 1.
For the Pokemon Information on the forum here is a layout for what needs to be filled:
Trainer Name:
Opposing Trainer:
Trainer Items:
Pokemon:
Name:
HP:
Nature:
Ability:
Moves:
(For moves I sometimes allow all moves and 1 TM and HM, but its up to you =P)
Hold Item:
Status Effect:
Its not that complicated and it can be very fun if you can get the hang of it =D
USE THE AVERAGE DAMAGE
And for accuracy use this http://www.random.org/
Two on Two battles can be done as well.
When you want to battle someone just ask them and tell them what levels and how many pokemon each of you use. Enjoy!!
In fact I want to battle someone right now:
Trainer Name: Daisuke
Opposing Trainer: I dont know yet >_>
Trainer Items: N/A
Pokemon: Staryu
Name: Staryu
HP: 264/264
Nature: Calm
Ability: Natural Cure
Moves: Rapid Spin, Hydro Pump, Thunderbolt, Surf
Hold Item: N/A
Status Effect:

Re: Pokemon Battling
A much simpler and faster way of battling would be Shoddy Battle if we can get a server going.
