Heeeeey, I like the girl trainer, or at least what we can see of her. xD Ponytail and cap, mmhm.
We may get to see more of their designs when CoroCoro comes out on the 15th. Perhaps they'll look less strange when we can actually see what they look like?

Black and white really good. Grey it's a kinda anticlimax. How different do you think the gameplay will be?

Yeah thats true ^_^ I would really like to see a pokemon game in actual 3D for a console. That would be fun plus if they let you take out your pokemon to follow you and stuff. They should also make it where you can see the wild pokemon and fight in an action format, but still make the damage as a rpg system.

The graphics look pretty awsome though! And I find that the legs o the characters are visible now lol

Not really looking forward to it. I'm a die hard Pokemon fan, but I think that 495 Pokemon is enough, lol. This game better be good, I can't even make it past the 3rd Gym in Platinum and HeartGold without getting bored out of my mind. Boy trainer looks like Roark to me... anyone else see that?

Haven't been paying enough attention to B/W, but I can't really say if I'm excited or disappointed. I'm really not fond of Zorua or Zoroark, but the graphics and characters look cool.

But I gotta admit that I'm hoping for some cool poison types. Or evolutions for several pokemon (that I will not name in fear of jinxing myself (and no, Jynx isn't one of them)).

It's just a little pointer coming out of the bottom screen text to show which person is talking. You can see it in the Pokémon Center picture.
I think it's about as much of a big deal as the aesthetic change of the tall grass in HGSS. :/

Not be be so negative (I really am not, I love earth... and most of its people ( ). I don't know why these games give me a bad feeling, they just do. I think HeartGold & Platinum killed Pokemon for me, lol. Also, I am really against the fact that there are going to be more Pokemon. F|

I see no reason to be upset for more pokemon. Besides if you dont like a certain pokemon why do you have to catch it? You can just ignore or release >_> (I keep all of my pokemon but...)

I gotta admit, if they make more pokemon, I'm going to be disappointed if we don't get bigger computers.

I remember filling three boxes with Koffings and Duskulls when I was trying to breed a good team in Sapphire.

Well, that's a given. The PC's get bigger practically every generation, don't they? The current boxes hold... what, 540? That won't even be enough for one of each this time around.

I don't mind new Pokémon. Though the latest crop of legendaries didn't really spark my fancy... dang, everything was made of pimped-out fancy design in Sinnoh. Bleh. Too complex-looking. :P I want Pokémon I can draw from memory.
But I take no issue in accepting a hundred or so more monsters into the Pokémon family. x_o Maybe I'm just the weird one.

I'm not really upset, just... annoyed, lol. There are tons of Pokemon already, and I think they are really starting to run out of ideas. I saw that when I saw Sky Formed Shaymin.

I'm trying to collect all the Pokemon in my Pearl. I hope this game is backwards compatable. Is it, anyone know?

Well it's to be expected that they start to run out of ideas after almost 500 of them. But I still don't mind.

Well, considering both games are for the DS, I imagine the Pokémon carryover will be similar to that of RGBY and GSC.

And if the unthinkable happens and it does come out on the 3ds (seriously, I think this whole ds thing is just a front, but that's just me...) I think the 3ds is supposed to be backwards compatible, too. Not sure though.

I remember hearing that it was. And that should mean the games will be able to communicate.

Yeah, what always made me angry was that I couldn't trade back and forth from my Platinum to my Sapphire game. >=I Because I wanted to put my Blaziken in there, and my Rayquaza. I hope it IS backwards compatible. If not I will be sad....;_; I wont be able to get a glaceon in that game....

Yeah, I didn't like that too much. I didn't like the change from Gold/Silver to Ruby/Sapphire. I had almost all the Pokemon on my silver that me and my dad worked so hard on (including a mew a friend gave me), and we couldn't use them anymore.

The reason I'm not liking Black and White is because it seems Pokemon is in it for the money now, not for the kids like when the first 3 generations came out. HeartGold and SoulSilver for example. They could have made it better, and not exactly like Gold and Silver (well, there's the other Pokemon, and Pokeathalon, which I really liked, but you can't really take advantage of that until the end of the game). I'm looking forward to the games, but I think they're (the Pokemon company) looking at it the wrong way. Just an opinion of mine.

Joy: I'm pretty sure you CAN trade pokemon. (well, trade is probably the wrong word to use) you just link you're sapphire into the gba slot, and run up platinum. (once you reach a point in the game, you can go to Pal Park. There you can "recatch" a "new" pokemon. (which is actually a pokemon you own. I think that's how it works...though there may be no direct trading, pokemon are still transferred by other means. ^^

miget: well, for most remakes the extra stuff is usually at the end. (sevii islands, what have you) but I agree. And gsc to rbe...terribly disappointing. (but maybe because I'm a fan of johto. Johto revolutionized pokemon forever as it's worthy sequel.)

@Tweetums: yup that's exactly how pal park works. Though the downside is that once your pokemons on the ds, it can never go back to the gba (I think that's what joy meant). It's awesome on one hand b/c you can have your old pokemon, but you almost have to forsake your gba games entirely if you want your best pokemon on the ds games...I know (as many do) from first hand experience. My diamond has become my "pokemon repository" of sorts where, thanks to a pokedex completion frenzy, my once flourishing advance games have become desolate wastelands... Moral of the story is...b/w better darn well be FULLY backwards compatible...

I know about Pal Park, but I still use my Sapphire game. I can't trade them back, so I don't want them out. >.>; I really hope B/W is backwards compatible so that I can stick a Glaceon in that game. X3

OMG I agree with you so much. 493 is enough. They kinda lost their heart in the Hoenn region, and now their losing their soul. Cept for HG/SS. And you know whats really painful? Sitting on the bus with Kamuro, listening to this little kid we know drone on and on about Sinnoh, and all the new Pokemon. I actualy went through an intire few days quite and keeping to myself after I found out about 5th gen. Yes, I said it, I went into withdrawal. But then I relizesed something. Everything that was good is going downhill. Youtube, ads on TV (anyone seen Australia's HG/SS ad? Ewww.), TV shows for kids (honestly, when I was around 3-7, they were actually intellegent and very interesting to watch, even if you were ana adult. Now it's just...Childish.) Serioulsy, anyone remember CatDog? Now all we get is Captain Flamingo . Also, shops arn't stocking all the stuff we want. (Well, in murwillumbah it's hard to find anything good [thats where I live]) Honestly, Pokemon's downfall is only one part of a lot of things that were good. That, for some strange reason actually makes me feel better about it.

Also, the graphics are the only thing I'm looking forward to. If I see anymore stupid evolutions like LickyLicky, Tangrowth and just plain dumb things like Carnivine
