I just said I'd never give up! So it is a movie? Ok, time to cheat. Is it The Works? I have no idea what it is, but I'm off to read up on it!

Huh. I wouldve thought it was toy story...
(if only whatthechuck was here...)

umm...this may come off as cheating, but, is it anyone of these?

The adventures of andre and wally B, luxo jr, reds dream or tin toy? (just listing off a coupla shorts)
or...are you talking about feature films that had a bit 'o CGI in 'em? I dunno...I read some article about beauty and the beast, and they mentioned cgi in there somewhere...(or were they saying how it wasn't made in cgi? I have absolutely no clue what I'm talking about. I'll just wait for the triumphant return of whatthechuck!)

ebeb, it did? Well, you basically got it. "Waking Sleeping Beauty" must have lied to me then, they said it was Rescuers Down Under. But then again, that was the last joint project they did before Pixar split with Disney and basically became what it is today. Sorry, that question wasn't worded very well *shrug* I'll give it to ya, pants. Your turn!

I knew I was right!

Now my question is an analytical one,
In the series Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, what is the theme symbolic of?
Shouldn't be difficult to figure out, it's pretty obvious. If I need to give hints I can.

Duuude Gurren Lagann rocks! 8D

Hmmm, well, the question is kinda vague, BUT the symbol for the series is obviously the spiral, drill too. (Your drill will pierce the heavens!) It represents evolution, changing, becoming more and better and growing. There's also some stuff with DNA mixed in there, 'cause y'know...spiral...double helix...yeah. XD

If you'd explain the question more, I could answer it better...if this isn't right...0o

Well you're definitely on the right track, just remember back to what Simon said in the last episode, he described the drill in the most important way.
He said "We evolve with each passing minute! With each revolution, we progress further! That is a drill;"
Now think about that for a moment, what exactly is that drill representing?

And yeah, it's my favorite show, I've analyzed the heck out of it.

Edit: 100th post! Epic.

Huh...dang, I'm always bad at this. Phrasing what I'm thinking in the write way....>.> I have to be writing an english essay answering an analytical question about a Sherman Alexie short-story, not about an anime! XD

Well this should come as evidence that anything can be subject to analysis. In short, an anime should be taken as seriously as a novel. But that's branching off from the topic at hand here.

This show is easy to analyze because all of the symbols are very obvious, yet well thought out and harmonious.
Just remember, it's all spelled out for you already. What the drill is symbolic of, Kamina says it twice, once in the first episode, and once in episode 26. Simon also says it in episode 26.

Edit: This is the most blatant hint I'm giving you. lol

If you're thinking The Brave Little Toaster, you're only half right chica...I know Lasseter was working on that project, but he was canned, lol...though they did still use all that they worked on in the movie, Lasseter and crew were fired when he asked to do the entire project in computer animation.

Just in case I'm right, I'll go ahead and ask a question (if I'm still wrong, ignore this Dirks and forgive me Sad). What was the only other Disney animated movie to use the same Technirama Widescreen technique, used by Sleeping Beauty.

I'm going to go with "heart", even thought I've never seen this series, nor did I cheat (this time).

That's a little too specific, you're definitely close though. As a matter of fact, I predicted that somebody would say heart.
Your guess is very close to the answer. lol

Nope. That's not as close as the previous guess.
Obviously determination is something very prevalent in the show, but why? What is the source of that determination?
The answer is.
