hmm, I dunno, it's kinda hard to do that in a DA Journal. I think the information and the link to our forum should be enough to get a decent amount of people...well, which stuff should we link to if we do ask?

so far i would say the rough animatics are the most suitable and the closest to what we have for the anime, at least until we have the next one up. But actually, I don't really see the point of making another animatic, maybe some changes here and there, but animation can actually start as well since we've pretty much checked that the flow is fine (since that's the purpose of the animatic anyway). so how about me and dee start work on the animation as soon as you sent the sketches to us?

alrighty, I'll see if I can get them done today or tomorrow. BTW, in panel 6, is that a tree on the very left part of the screen...?

yea that's a tree, the boy's supposed to walk towards the left of the screen, towards us. He's supposedly going to get his net and all, but it wasn't very clear, and he could walk towards there without getting his net, or he could walk towards there without the tree at all. It's up to you>W>

ah, I like the tree, though we can't just have it disappear afterward. But then we could have them close to the forest. We're gonna need some solid knowledge of where they are and what's around them for backgrounds and such.

do without it first then, since it's not going to be animated, we could have momo-chan add it in later? Since that's usually what they do for animes. Is she still active though?

we should focus on the animation first yea, before thinking about background.

I can easily contact momo on devinantART, I just think that she's not active on the forum because she doesn't have much to do. I'm sure she'll help us. =3

oh, and you do 3D? If its not to much, would you be willing to do at least some simple buildings and such for the cities? it would solve lots of perspective issues and problems with consistency will be solved too. I was thinking of doing 3D when it comes to cityscape, but im not sure if that's redundant or not.

Not really. I'm more involved in debugging, and etc.

That is not a bad idea. I don't know anything about facebook and my account just got disabled cause I typed my password wrong, but I'm sure a lot of people here know how to use it. XD

Facebook group?

I dunno. I'm not in charge, but it seems kinda weird to me. Don't know why though...(I'll get back to you on that)

it MAY be great publicity, but you should really get permission before doing it.

i don't think you should discount the site so quickly, aki, but it may end up being more for the promotion side of things rather than an actual recruitment tool

yea, that's the point. i don't really want excess attention that may result in us shutting down, some attention is needed, but with the right audience as well, which is why i proposed deviantart instead.

Who's creating it? I'll do it if you guys want, but I'm warning you now, it's gonna be more people faving the idea than actually wanting to join in. However, it'll be a subtle way to make people more aware of it, and I think it would definitely pull in a few people.

So, since I am on facebook all the time anyway, would you like me to start one? It couldn't hurt...

Also, the DA idea is perfect. IDK why we haven't done it before... :/

I thought joy-joy had posted a DA group already, but don't quote me on that.

Yeah, I'm all for a Facebook group, but i don't know how to make one, so yeah....

what we could do is that we could ask them again with updates on our progress and all, or we could create our own group and affliate them for publicity. tho i think having a group on dA right now is kinda pointless, considering that we already have the forums, no need to scatter the discussion areas and confuse everyone up to check out both places. (and not mention, procrastinating medium, posting the same work up and both places thinking that we did more but we didn't.)

Facebook group is a good idea, might grab a couple of people, else it will spread the news anyway. I think it's probably worth doing.

Again, I want to advocate that maybe publicity wouldn't be the best idea...it is kinda a double edged sword...I mean we need help and all, but it could turn ugly real quick... but maybe that's just me.

...we get taken down for copyright issues. I'm not too worried about that happening because of a facebook group, but it is something to be aware of.
