Me as Yellow alone. Better look at my costume, but that was the first hat I found at a costume store before Target started selling their Spring Hats. This was from the convention I went to in January.
The sole picture of me as Blue. Taken in my room (yeah, it's really painted like that. One of the walls has a big Gracidea painted on it </ramble>), but this was for a con back in October. Also it's a terrible terrible picture. But I made Ditty out of Model Magic!
Oh, and my hair is longer in the back. I have a Blue haircut, yeah. And that skirt IS pleated much like Blue's... is it ever... it was tough to make.

Oh! Anime Matsuri & Oni-Con!!! I went to that in '05-'06 right before moving to Seattle, but I didn't get to cosplay...
Man, you guys sure did a great job on your cosplays!

Aw, thanks everyone! They were a lot of work (I didn't learn to use a sewing machine until I got to the last costume I made, which was Red's vest. Yellow's belt and the little cuffs over her boots, Blue's top, skirt, hat, legwarmers (which should be weird socks, but they had to hide my incorrect shoes, and you can't see them anyway), and wristband (it's hidden behind my back) were all stitched by hand. I had a friend help me with the tunic because it was such a big project.), so it means a lot to get such nice comments.

What I need..
*Socks (located, the exact color I need!)
*Skirt (Remains elusive. Have checked every department store, second hand shop and high street retailer. still nothing)

Do you know how to sew? It's not a very complicated skirt. owo I ended up making mine by hand, which was... rather tedious. And it didn't turn out well, but that's because I didn't get enough fabric.
But if you know someone who knows how to sew, it's not a difficult garment.

Months ago I wanted to cosplay as Blue, but I didn't get all the costume -actually I just had the skirt xD- And I forgot about. It's funny that Razor-leaf has almost all the costume exept that, when the skirt is the only thing that I actually have xD Oh, and a friend borrow me a Pokedex too =D

Haha anyway, good luck finding it! I hope I'll someday cosplay as Blue as well. Also I'd love to make a Pokespe cosplay group! but in my country there aren't many people who would like to. So sad... xD

I suppose you could try and get ashirt of the same style then dye it the colour you want, but that probably wont work unless the skirt is white...

Heh. There are bunches in Texas (three in Houston that I know of) and I go all the time. Usually only one day, because they're all during the school year. And two out of three of my cosplays so far have been Pokémon Special, and I'm planning a Platina sometime soon as part of a group. (It might turn into Silver, though, depending on which people end up being able to go.)

And I need to cosplay the new Black and White girl. She looks just like me. o_o
I wouldn't even have to restrict that outfit to conventions, either. It's normal enough to just wear in public.

Oh, Marley. We need to photoshoot. ONI-CON.

I'm currently making Lyra/Kotone, which I really want to make as Crystal, but it depends on the hair. My hair is similar enough to Kotone's to make it look like her, but I want to actually be Crystal ;w; It's just too bad that pigtails are so hard to make with wigs x___o

I'm also currently making a Gold cosplay from the HGSS arc for my boyfriend, although all we have so far is a pool cue and a pair of goggles...

And I plan on making a Sapphire for my little sister, a Silver for my friend's little sister, and Blue for my other friend. Then Marley and her boyfriend will join us AND WE'LL ALMOST BE COMPLETE... SORT OF. I want a Ruby so bad...

EDIT: I also made a Slowpoke costume. IT'S DONE.

They're honestly much better when either home-made or commissioned. Usually, if you just buy them online or whatever, they are: a) made from really bad material and b) they usually don't fit correctly AT ALL. (If that's what you meant by getting a "Dawn" costume -laugh-)

But if you are planning on making it, the easiest way is to get stuff that you can just modify~.
For example, when I was helping Marley make a Red costume, we used two knit polos to make the vest-thing (I guess it's technically more of a jacket, but oh well) and sewed them together after making a few cuts and installing a zipper! ^^ <--- condensed explanation, whoooo~

But these are just my suggestions >3>

I made my platina costume from scratch (apart from the ugg boots) >.< it takes a long time, but its worth it.
I also agree with what Uber said, cos it might be easier ^-^

They have a really wide selection of (usually) good quality wigs if you just look hard enough~

Well... I'm making a home-made Platinum costume!
Well okay, it's a Dawn costume. But I would prefer if people would call my character Platinum Berlitz Neutral

What I have:
-pink boots (not that long Sad

)
-black socks (my dad's Smile

i know it's weird! but i don't own any long black socks )
-the white thing for the inside
-pink scarf (this would do since i wasn't aware that time i bought it that it should've been dark pink, i practically begged my mom to buy me one)
-bonnet (it's reversible)

What I need:
-skirt
-vest
-idea on how to sew the Pokeball logo on the bonnet
-i think i need a piplup? do i?

I'm soo excited!

They really have almost anything--if you can't find it anywhere else, it's probably on eBay.

As for the pokeball logo, the easiet way (I can think of) would be to just get some pink cloth, cut it, and sew it on very carefully x___o
