Good Recording Devices
I don't have high-quality voice recording devices, but I do own a microphone. I have the programs Audacity and Garage Band, which I can record without a microphone, because I have a built-in mic. on my computer. All of these make my voice sound sort of low and almost warped, which I don't think is high-quality.
Do you know of any good recording devices I can possibly buy and use?

Re: Good Recording Devices
Ultimately, if you don't want to spend money, you're just going to kind of play around with Audacity, maybe try some Noise Removal, and find a quiet area to record. I would also recommend building a pop filter, which can be made out of some wire and old socks in order to cover your mic to make sure you don't get those annoying puffs and clicks.
Akietara posted a thread here with recording tips. I haven't read them over, so I don't know exactly what they say *shot*
Jasonresno also posted a really good thread here highlighting some general things that are useful for VAs to have.
If you're okay with spending money, you can buy some decent microphones for under $100 (not by much...), but that's based on your own preference depending on what style of microphone you like. Here's a good resource for microphone reviews by other amateur VAs. (And if that's adevertising, I'm sorry *shot*)

Wow, thanks. I'll be sure to look at all of those carefully.
Yea, I always get the popping and crackling noises.
I'll try and play around in Audacity too. <3 Thanks for your help!

Sure thing =] Just try a couple Google searches and you can get some really helpful stuff. If you have any more questions, just ask and I'll try to answer them.
