I made a banner for advertisements (first attempt at ever creating a banner), and this topic is a showcase for banners. Post your own banner here please!

Well, it's not technically a banner, but here is an ad I made. (first attempt at an ad, btw)

Thank you very much! I honestly was just playing around on paint and I decided why not try to do some ads, and this is the result. Maybe that could be part of the audition process, make some art for an ad?

That sounds like a great idea! We could get more advertisements for the project.
But I'm not in charge of the art department or the audition group.

It's pitiful because the design is horrible and done in Photoshop. While it is a good banner, it's a horrible advertisement. >.>; You should see the stuff I have to make in my graphic design class, THEN look at this.

Not my best work. I wish I had access to clearer pictures than these, but you get the idea.

I wish that people would give constructive critisicms to the banners, I felt this thread is for helping people improve in banner making. Oh well >.>

It's not pitiful, it's wonderful! Especially where you put the word 'anime' - in the mirror! It's like there's a second side to PokeSpe...Oh noes, i can't explain it. I guess my words are always un-understandable.

I'll try drawing some banner in my free time...In school. >Sighs for school reopening<

The advertisement logos are good and everything but what do you guys think of making a 30 second trailer for the entire pokemon special or at least RGB saga instead? then continuous trailers for the next sagas as we get there.

We could do it like "Pokespecialanime proudly presents", then an anime shot of Red, Green and Blue. Then shows Red making a pose and saying "I am the best trainer in these parts". Then next scene his poli loses with one shot to mew. Then a sarcasm from green "it was too weak I didn't know it was a trainer's pokemon" Then a shot of brock saying "You this is the trainer with the one hit victories?" Then team rocket admins and rocket grunts are shown with misty's voice in the background saying team rocket is not to be handled lightly".

You guys get the point. Now I know this is more work then we need to so you guys can discard it if you like. By the way nice logo Joyfulldreams

nice idea! But judging by how animation is going, I'm not sure. It seems animation will take a while. The first episode alone could take months.

Mhm. It will probably take at least 2 months. But once we get into the swing of things, I'm pretty sure it'll get faster and faster.

By the way, here's a little preview of what (I hope) the animation will look like. This, for me alone, took me about 2 hours, but once I get the technique down, and lots of help, it won't be that hard.

Do we have storyboarders? After all, storyboarding comes before animation. If we want the project to move forward, we need to take the basics before getting into the professional stuff.

Well, we've got people that are auditioning for storyboarding, but non set in stone for now. I pretty much just want the whole thing scripted ASAP before Dee gets ahead of himself animating. I would do it if I were any good at it...

do you need help script writing? Because I'm willing to audition, but no one has gotten back to me on the thread I posted...

Yup I know:) But a trailer is the best form of advertisement. It will give the fans something to look up to. After what I said before we could add some frames of Red battling and giovanni's voice on the background saying, hmm I knew it, no strategy no plan, he is no threat to us. Lastly a scene of Red talking to a little girl (yellow) saying if you love your pokemon, they will love you in return" Then we add "coming soon". Its just to finish up what I said.

Oh I tried asking around for animators. So far no answer yet but hopefully

I could ask megami33, but that's a slim chance. A famous abridger, and I recall she goes to a proffesional animating school. But she's really busy.

How many animators do we need?

I don't know about animators, talk to dabeatmaster about that. Having maybe one other person to help him out would be best. (The animators use the storyboard and make rough animations, tween artists add more frames, then sketch artists correct mistakes and such, line artists line it out, bla bla...)

Mostly, we need illustrators. People to help me out with frame-by-frame art. I'd say we'd need at least 8, minimum. 2 background artists, 2 line artists, 2 color artists, and 2 shading artists. I'll do everything else until more people arrive.

So far, I have 1 color artist, 2 background artists on hold with a 3rd gone missing...and 2 line artists (one of them could probably do other jobs as well, but...). I'll do shading for now.
