Pokemon X & Y

Hmm. That's surprising. 99 more Pokemon to add in the Pokedex.

Now, I am surprised they added a new feature that acts just like Pokemon Colosseum and Gale of Darkness: Call. It's Whistle which snaps them out of confusion or sleep, but Call can do the same thing too, so YES! Finally, now I don't have to sit my butt on bed doing nothing.

This is strange: four Pokemon based on a suit of cards but not the old classic style 3 legendary Pokemon? This was supposed to be an old fashion a legendary trio, but they buffer up the number to a quartet.

And what gives: Jean & Jane? They both sound like girl names (sometimes Jane could be a guy name), but come on!

Well considering the new region has a basis on France, I think Jean would be how the French write "John" in some cases, so it seems okay to me.

Well, let's keep in mind that the rumors DID come from 4chan, so nothing is for sure, LOL.

I saw that a long time ago. I find the whole thing horribly unbelievable.

Here's to hoping the pokemon are better than in black and white. I personally though B&W was fine, but they could've done better.
I think Sylveon looks like a normal type. Although i did find this one picture (fanart) where it was a flying type, and used the ribbons on its bow tie as a helicopter lol

I think Sylveon might be a normal type. Although, it could be gender specific: X and Y are the chromosomes that determine gender, and with the re-introduction of Mewtwo, surely it is something to do with genes and chromosomes? Also, in the Japanese logo you can see a DNA strand. So it could be a gender specific evolution - it does look quite girly. If anything, I wouldn't doubt a new type (fairy or light or something like that). Clefairy, jigglypuff, mawile, ampharos, ledian etc etc would be retyped I expect. I like the new designs a lot better than gen 5's. I think I'm gunna like X and Y a lot!

If anyone's seen the most recent trailers for X and Y, what are your thoughts on the "Mega Evolutions" they've announced?

I'm glad they made a Mega Venusaur. Mega Chairzard also looks cool. But... Mega Blastoise doesn't look much different from regular Blastoise...
If they made Mega Kanto starters, there might be a chance that we could see the Kanto trio in the X/Y arc, whenever Kusaka starts it.

That would be interesting to see, though it may be possible we'll see Red and Green in the B&W2 chapter if they implement the Pokemon World Tournaments into the story.

On topic, I kinda like the Mega Blastoise look. I can already imagine a triple Hydro Pump-esque move set

Personally, I'm all for the Megas. I think they look awesome.  I hope Mega Chairzard has some resistance to stealth rock.
