Yeah, Ruby and Sapphire are probably the most obvious couple here.

I get it now and I agree that Silver and Blue are more sibling than anything.

That would mean that Byron is his uncle and therefore brother of either giovanni or ariana (my money's on giovanni) and his grandfather is the Underground Man in Eterna City XD.

And Memie, for the official use of the word canon, it's something really that absolute UNDENIABLE fact in terms of the story. It's generally used to refer to the plotline in general, what exists in that universe, and basically the way the original author has made the story out to be. Just like dirks said essentially.

But I kinda disagree on the way she refered to relationships as canon. For that sake of argument, people use the word canon on a relationship when it is also, absolute undeniable FACT written in cold black ink.

There is no canon ship as of yet, and RubySaph is the closest thing TO canon. Fans ship characters because they think there's hints at romance there, but some take hints from things that are definitely NOT hints. Yellow crushing on Red is debatable and it's possibly there, but unless it's written in stone, it's NOT canon. Nor is it non-canon. And the fans use that to make all their fanfic seem justified...

So anyway, in my case and if if I were to say something is canon that is debatable, I'd say it more in relation to character's personalities. For instance I COULD say that Red being a hothead is canon in R/G/B but others may disagree and say that's not true asit implies he has a short temper. Although this is true to some extent, most people think he's just reckless rather than shorttempered and claim that as canon instead.

And then the author brings out an official profile of Red saying he's actually a bit of a hothead and all hell breaks loose since it's suddenly canon XD. (not actually true, jsut an example)

Diamond -> Platina (It's more one sided since Diamond only said she was beautiful one time and Platina has shown no interest in him.)

Reckon Iris will make as big an appearance or a larger than usual appearance? Iris, you know, the new girl travelling with Ash. I wouldn't put it past them, as Misty could quite a resonable role. Think she'll play something simliar to Black?

Iris is the 8th gym leader, and she meets up with Ash. Iris replaces Misty, and Dento replaces Brock. Dento has the ability to talk to pokemon.

I really wonder about Iris, because she's only a Gym Leader in White version, otherwise she's a Move Tutor for Draco Meteor in Black. I like Shaga more actually, so I hope that the battle happens with him. Makes me wonder about the actual city too, because it's different between the two versions.

I wonder if they'll introduce a new Gym Leader when the third version game comes out, so somehow they'll have to incorporate the new leader into the manga story sometime too if they come up with a new character.

Well I think in the anime they'll make her the gym leader, it would be an interesting twist.

It's actually the third chapter that's been released in magazines, but since the volume releases are going to rearrange them anyway, /a/non is just numbering the chapters based on the order in which he translates them.

They're gonna arrive stateside July 5th! I'm gonna try picking them up first day!

It's weird though that the BW chapters are being compiled into volumes by Viz before it's being done in Japan though. In Japan they're only at Platinum.
