Pokemon Game Discussion

I still watch the anime myself, it's actually kinda redeemed itself in terms of quality...the battles are better and Team Rocket doens't blast off anymore and acts more professional. Ash is still one continually failing idiot though. Trust him to throw a Poke Ball at a wild Pokemon before battling it. TWICE.

I bought Silver and Crystal myself, but Silver for me was the one which starting my Pokemon fangirlism. Red suddenly appearing at the top of Mt Silver for me was tons of squee.

Well be glad Video Game Red isn't taken...xD

But honestly as stupid as he is I don't really care, I like the anime because I grew up with it. He's always my favorite and when the time calls for it he can be deep with his pokemon. It's just sometimes he makes me think "Really?" -.-

Anyway, I still have yet to beat SS, I've been doing a lot of projects on flash lol

Well Hamster... see manga Red and the Red in the video game are two different people. The Red in the manga belongs to Yellow, but in the games he has no love interest.

Are you just saying that video game Red isn't in the manga, which I already knew?

As in that Yellow already likes him and he likes her.

But the video game Red is open for anyone.

Since Red in VG is the main character, there aren't any love interests because the game is just a basic. Same thing with Pokemon Blue, Yellow, Green, Gold, & Silver.

But with Red, he's got Yellow and Misty as a love triangle. It's up to the writers & makers what to do with Red's story.

I appreciate you guys doing the Pokemon Game Discussion, but please stay on topic. Nice idea for doing difference, but save the Manga stuff on the Manga Discussion. Keep going about the Gold, Silver, & Crystal game.

@Red: This is on topic because we're talking about the main character Red form the video game(and his love status). But really they pair Yellow with Red more than Misty with Red, because Red doesn't show much interest in Misty, but blushed when he saw Yellow was a girl. There's also many scenes where it shows he does have an interest in her. Besides, misty belongs to Ash.(This is just a joke since this is Misty form the manga.)

But I think Red (game) isn't taken only due to his Heroic Mime attitude, i.e. not saying a word throughout the entirety of the game except the occasionaly yes/no question. And boy/girl. Otherwise he's probably pretty popular but I guess he's just a bit busy travelling to do so XD

Oh, last night I was so bored I went into a chat site and added everyone from the Pokemon Manga besides Black and White. I think I confused a bunch of people, but I have never been spammed so many PMs in my life.

Okay, you made your point. The point is this though that in certain games are different from the Manga with relation ship & the odd adventures.

Ethan x Lyra has a bit of in-game basis, because the composer of their theme song tried to make their song with the thought in mind as if they were each other's first love.

My only trump Pokemon is Typhlosion. He helped me beat the Elite Four & Red, but I had help with my other Pokemon. It's been a long time since I played Gold.

I can't really remember much of the team I used for the Elite Four in Silver...but by the end of the game/before it got corrupted, I had an Ampharos, Typholosion, Meganuim, Lugia, the red Gyarados and Articuno. A balanced yet unbalanced team...just look at the weaknees to Electric there. I just always had this thing of catching Pokemon of different types to have a balacned team really, instead of making one super Pokemon and others just hanging round in the party for HM use. It just makes the game less fun I found. Usually had...a Fire, Grass, Water, Electric, Flying and Psychic. For instance my D/P team was Infernape, Roserade, Luxray, Staraptor, Floatzel and Bronzong. *shrugs*

Sounds like making a balance team can be a little difficult. Electric, Fire, Grass, Psychic & Flying, Water, and Ice & Flying. They look like a tough team.

Well that's why you do dual types like Heatran(Fire/Steel) Pelliper (Water/Flying). Just an example
