What? You too? A*******! Self-destruct & Explosion! They are the banes to all players! What are those game makers thinking? I would rather make the Self-Destruct & Explosion weak to the Pokemon Warrior Chronicles game than put it that high!

And critical hits! Sheesh! That becomes Rare to sometimes common, and that's a living hell to our Pokemon. How come Wild Pokemon get critical hits than our Pokemon? It's annoying!

You know, I just beat the 8th Gym Leader on Pokemon Soul Silver, I got impatient and just took her on with all lvl 40 team. It took me 3 tries. 1st try was because I was very unprepared. 2nd was because my pokemon were fainting since she kept getting lucky and got two hits in a row. Then third was because she withdrew her Gyrados on my Meganium and replaced it with a Dragonair as I was attacking with petal dance. Then after defeating her..she tells me I'm still not worthy enough of a gym badge and tells me to find some temple in the cave behind the gym. I think I'm going to kill her.

Be glad you actually get the badge in the end if you go through the dragon's den. It's nothing as hard as Clair. You can do it. =)

No, I know it won't be, might actually have some good pokemon in there, but after that ordeal, it's like seriously lady? I just felt like venting about how annoying she is. I don't like her now.

Clair, the dragon gymleader? I beat her on my first try because I had Piloswine and Gyarados help me. I know its annoying not to get a bad, but go the Dragon Den's and talk to the old man, ask questions, and pass; you'll finally get the last badge. The same thing happens on the old Generaion II games.
It's not because how annoying she is, it's just that she's a big pussy not to act like a true gym leader. When I face her and Lance, I'll own those two with Gyarados, Dragonite, & Ampharos.

I don't have a Dragonite, but my Jynx was level 35 when I took her on and I still beat her lvl 38 Dragonairs. I got bored of grinding, so that's why I failed..lol. I don't like Paloswine since I saw it all the time in Diamond so I got a Jynx instead.

I rather have a Sneasel than a jynx ten times over. And then a Weavile. Maybe be weak x4 to Fighting, but it is super quick and high attack stat with plenty of moves like Night Slash with a high critical hit ratio. A sweeper through and through.

Yeah, but at that point I haven't run into a Sneasel yet or know where they're located. Jynx just looks weird...I miss when she was black o.x Purple just looks silly.

Just started my Nuzlocke challenge on leafgreen.
My rattacate died, ironic, cuz I was fighting Green at pokemon tower.

Wow. Everyone is real busy. Here's the question of the day:
Does anyone wanna take the challenge on any task when Black & White comes out? We know a lot about Pokemon, but not the triple & the new Pokemon.

Black and White? The Pokemon game which has been announced to and confirmed as one which is a lot harder than HG/SS and yet still accessible to new peoples in all the reviews I've read/translated?

Agree. If I were to try and do that on Pokemon White, I'd be screwed in one try. Let's try this: has anyone thought of Pokemon Strategy? Like this:

I have a Houndoom, and use these techniques against a water type: Flamethrower, Sunny Day, Solarbeam, & Crunch. With these ideas, I can start with Sunny Day just to weaken water attacks and take small damage, then I'll blast my opponent with Solarbeam in one shot.

Or this:
I have a Stantler. My idea attacks are Zen Headbutt, Earthquake, Drain Punch, & Confuse Ray. The idea works because Stantler relies more of Attack. Zen Heabutt against fighting & poison types, Drain Punch against Rock, Ice, & Steel, and Earthquake on Electric, Poison, & Rock.

Give it a try. Think of the top strategies to teach a disadvantage Pokemon into an advantage Pokemon.

You know, I really miss victory road. If I can recall I don't remember it at all in Diamond and Pearl. I think victory road was such a pain in R/S/E Seriously all that traveling and battling just for Wally to come at the end and battle your barely alive pokemon.

Ah yes. Victory Road. It's considered to be the final stage for all the Pokemon Games. It's been a long time since I played Yellow. It was a pain to solve a maze, beat trainers, wild Pokemon, and puzzles. Only Generation II & III have one rival trainer to fight. But Berry appears in D/P/PT when you get close to the entry way to battle the elite four.

No need to bump Red, things are just starting up again for the staff. And Xmas is lurking...(that's my excuse)

Victory Road for me I honestly didn't mind in any game. The only thing that annoyed me was that I could never ever find Trainers I hadn't battled! Cause in nearly every game there is nearly always a HUGE leap between the rival you face in the League lobby/VR//wherever and the Elite Four. Fighting Trainers added a little spice to the grinding I think.
But then obviously it would clearly run out of Traienrs for me to pwn and I wuld be left...fighting Onix and Graveler and Golbat like they were the only Pokemon that existed. Until my Pokemon CLEARLY were in the mid 50s.

I only hope in B/W there's plenty of Trainers to fight in VR...sure I like catching tons of Pokemon when I can but you know, with B/W's new mechanics, I look forward to how it could spice up grinding even more. =)

I hope so too. They got good trainers since the R/B/Y, R/S/E, & D/P. It's been a while since the Victory was still around. I do believe the Victory Road idea was consider a final dungeon in my version (or final level). What are they going to think of next in the B/W?
