Planning a Party!

So, we talked about throwing our party for our one year anniversary. I think it's a good idea, but we definitely need to get organized. So, any thoughts?

what is the date anyway? 19th december?
let's make suggestions first. I think most agreed on a skype conference. We have to think about timezones and stuff though. (I can stay up all night anyway so my timezone is flexible XD but aki's health is in concern..)

And also.. everyone prepares a present/gift or special something and show it on skype?
A drawing for those who can draw, a mini-drama or something for VAs (the characters saying congratulatory messages~ >w<)

actually, isn't it already 2 years for some of you?OO I remembered joining the project in 2010, but I remembered it started in december 2009(at mangafox, when I heard of this but didn't join). which means that this would be our 2nd year anniversary, correct?^^

It started December last year, that's when the earliest post here is. I doubt it was two years but I wasn't on Mangafox so I could be wrong.

Yep, sleep is good. But sometimes it's difficult to find. Oh and how's the party gonna work?

No idea but in any case no worries about my health ezu>W< If I'm not able to attend the party it'll probably be due to school reasons rather than health issues... since the health issue wasn't that big of a deal to begin with<W<;; (seriously, while I appreciate all your concerns; you guys make it sound like I have some terminal disease with all the care you're givingXD; )

We should make it on weekends so some of us can stay up at night. >w> We're going to have the party on skype right? Like a meeting. XD (hm maybe we can discuss some issues like a meeting too )

And since it's on skype, some people can sing and stuff. 8D (I won't, and you probably won't even hear my voice >w>)

Sweet idea! It's finals for me right now, but maybe me and Dirks can get a gun on preparing a little VA surprise...(I have finals till the 15th, so no promises...but I'll see what I can do, lol).

The 19th falls on a Sunday, so we can have the party on a Saturday-ish time because timezones make at least 16hrs diffeence between the furthest ahead and the furthest behind.

And people might be ok with staying up, but what if they ahve to get up early ? :O

Maybe we should make a list of everyone that doesn't mind staying up and somehow work it around that?

Well I do believe I started this project during december break around final time when I put this on mangafox aki so it's been 1 year. The 19th works fine =P

ah i don't think I'll be able to make it on 19th... I'll be having a elementary school gathering on that day so I won't be able to make it... Though how about the following week?

I personally think it's silly to celebrate on the anniversary of an IDEA and not the actual release of the full 1st episode but that's just me. Best of luck to you all still.

If it's on the Saturday night that'd be even better. Because staying up late on a Sunday night might not be good for the younger ones still in school [I'll be on Winter Break by then. Hahahaha!!]

I agree on a huge Skype conference. We could just invite someone to a huge Skype meeting and have it open all day. Kind of like a mini-ressurrection of the Chatbox and people can pop in whenever they want. Maybe we can have an official time when everyone meets to showcase the gifts and such.

Yeah, my finals end the 16th, but then I'll be home after that. As for a script...hmm, I might have an idea. Maybe I could take a study break and write one?

well...we definitely need a time-zone sheet for that official time part you were talking about, dirks.

19th 19th....*checks calendar* Yup, I'm free! Even in the midst of my hiatus I can make space for a party! Sure sounds like fun! And I can pull an allnighter Saturday night no problem! To all those who lest forget, I will be several hours ahead of (most of) you in London time.

But no, if someone pulls up some times with central USA, London, and so on so people can show up on time without fear that would help to get things a bit more organized.

Most fo our members are from the USA D: With a few brits + the singaporeans (guessing demonyms >_>) and a couple of aussies ... and then a few Europeans who are close to britime. (see what i did there? ;D)

It's really hard to find a suitable time.

So, who here are willing to stay up until 3 to 4 am? And who can wake up as early 8 am to attend the party?

How about UTC 00:00 for the official time? Can you check your time?
Malaysia and Singapore will be 8 am.

Hmm, that's midnight, Saturday, in my holidays ... no problem.

Midnight, Saturday as well and I don't mind staying up.

8am, should be fine, if I'm at home that day (might be Xmas shopping in the big city which would mean no internet... )

I think. I don't know how daylight savings time fits into this so mehh...
I'll be on my computer all day then anyway. The SpeedGamers have a marathon that weekend. =P
