How is this going to be incorporated into the anime?
As shown in bulbapedia, Garchomp is said to fly at the speed of sound, or Mach 1. However, Pidgeot's Pokedex entry states that it flies at Mach 2, twice the speed of sound. Although that makes Pidgeot a living missile, this isn't quite right, as Garchomp has higher base speed stat than Pidgeot.
Also other mechanics such as Pika defeating Brock's Onix with an electric attack (which is impossible), how are they going to be in the anime, while making sense?

I'm not quite sure about the first bit, but I am fairly sure it IS possible to defeat Onix with an Electric attack; Onix is a Rock type, and Electric types do affect it (just not much). It's Ground that it doesn't affect~

Onix is Rock/Ground though. =P
I'm pretty sure we're going to stick mostly to the manga's interpretation which isn't 100% like the game.

But the "Aim for the Horn" technique is the one that doesn't make sense, and it practically infuriated many Pokemon Anime watchers.

They talk about types in the manga and also stack it as Water beats Fire and
blah blah blah, but they also try to make the point in the manga that one is
not predestined to victory or defeat by type. What you're strengths and
weaknesses are help and hinder but do not define. I would be awfully sad if this
discrete theme was omitted simply because it wouldn't be likely in game play.
Also, Charizard can't learn Fly in game but Green goes everywhere on his.

Like Sky said, were sticking as closely as possible to the source. Who knows, maybe enough electricity offsets the magnetic energy keeping Onix's body together causing him to fall apart... Krazy Kusaka at it again.

Umm... Charizard can learn Fly, but most people do not make them learn it due to their higher Special Attack stat - which Fly is a physical attack - so it makes it kinda useless.

In the original Red and Blue versions of Pokemon
Charizard could not learn fly but by the time
Yellow was released, he could.
Sorry, I'm showing my age. =P
Edit:
Cha Cha Claims that the same case holds true in FireRed and LeafGrean
though honestly, after not being able to teach my Charizard Fly in Red
or Blue, I never tried to in FireRed or LeafGreen.

Nah.
Just proves my age… or that I played the old games.
Here's the real scary thing:
I remember a time before Pokemon.
It was a dark time.
=P
