What will the logo be?

personally i dont like the font for PokeSpe. Because all pokemon stuff use that, it looks kinda cheesy. :/

and the pokeball looks kinda boring D: i like the pokeball wallace used. C:

and if everyone doesnt like Pokespe for title, how did we get that? D: voting, right?

XD I'm gonna try a different, non-centered design this time. And yeah, I know moving things around won't make them look jumbled. I was just saying that alignment was the principle of not making things jumbled and random. XD I've done lots of non-centered designs. =3

I'm thinking I'll try making it pop...and maybe we could even animate the logo! That would be awesome. X3

Also, the pokeball wallace used? What? 0o I just made the pokeball quickly using illustrator tools, so I didn't spend much time trying to make it look funky or anything, just to make it look like a pokeball I guess....

@ezu: I voted pokespecial, but the majority went for pokespe and i was like "ok...>A>"

I was gonna mention if we could use our own fonts instead, but I thought maybe that's breaking the pokemon tradition, since even the original manga uses the pokemon fonts. I don't know which is better, honestly><

No...the Japanese cover looked different. They used that special pokemon adventures cool title, if I recall. I think just the viz manga uses the anime font.

EDIT: actually, it seems that I'm wrong. They do use the pokemon font...but the Japanese one was coloured green (in the first volume) with big block shaped Japanese letters. The translations however, used pokefont.

I don't see what's so wrong with using Pokefont. It has to do with the WHOLE franchise, not just the sucky anime. It gives it more of that 'pokemon' feel to it. And pokespecial would be cool too, I guess.

Also, that design is pretty good. Although I find it hard to beleive wallace went and made that, seeing as it's written in japanese and the pokeball would take knowing illustrator pretty well to make...at least the pen tool.

i didnt say wallace made the pokeball. or did i? >.> maybe wallace just compiled them to make a logo. but i like the pokeball, that's my point :/

well then lets have everyone and anyone make some logos and we vote, and from there we could use the one we decided on and see how we can improve it etc.?

the japanese have their own type of pokefont, i think in general the font for the japanese are the same, just different colours, not very sure tho>:

Note that the English title logo is the same design for almost all media, including the games and manga, not just the anime. Note that the Japanese design is also the same between the games, manga, and anime. However, in the early products, it was just letters (purple for the main games, green for the anime and manga iirc), but eventually they added a metallic border around and changed the colour of the letters between games, among other changes.

So the English logo is just standard for English pokemon stuff, so I'm leaning towards that. The only thing I like about the Japanese one is that there's more room to be creative, like how there's a subtitle slot, or how it's easy to just change the colour of the letters between each chapter, etc.

i know.. but seeing it a lot of times make it looks boring. >.> i'm not against using the pokefont though. just personally hate the font. >w>

I am going to voice audition for some roles. I got a grate vocal range.

I can probably come up with a design for the logo. I'm taking a Computer Graphics class, so I have access to both Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

perhaps a poll is needed to decide all of these logos?

Before we do a poll. I we sure ask pokespecialfanclub on DeviantArt first so we get artists to send there design in. I can try to redo my design.

Oh, wow, Kanon, you're taking a Computer Graphics class too? XD And sure, once people get some designs up here we could have a poll. =0

Also, when you're making the logos, make sure to fit in the WHOLE title. I'd make one with Pokespecial AND Pokespe though, since Pokespe is the sorta official while Pokespecial is just sorta...better, I guess.

0_0 ...............Chibi...I love it. I love it SO MUCH. How about we change it up a bit though, so that it says 'Pokespecial' or 'Pokespe' up top, and on the bottom it says 'RGB Arc'.

I mean, seriously, that is AMAZING. I'm gonna actually do that in illustrator, tell me what colors you wanted to use. ASAP.

I think we should keep Pokemon Special. 'Pokespecial' and 'Pokespe' People may confused by those name and beside this is still pokemon. Changing the name of it isn't a good idea. But we have NO right to change the name.

Hey, pretty cool. By the way, that border around "Special" is supposed to be a Pikachu, right? That could be cool in the later arcs, like if we changed up what that border is for the different chapters (like a Jirachi in the Emerald Chapter, etc.).

We've already had a vote, and the results came out as 'pokespe' being the most popular. You're a bit late. And also, it will decrease any kind of copyright issues, because we have our own, fan-made name. And no, I doubt it will cause any confusion, because everybody watching this will already have read pokespe. I also doubt it will matter that much, because it's the content of the episode people care about, not the title. XD

I have no problem celling it pokespe but officially it's Pokemon Special. If we uploaded it we should call pokespe.

This it the same as dragonball z calling DBZ, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles calling ninja turtles or TMNT. It's should have the official on the logo.
