Suggestion for the fourm - ACCEPTED

It would be nice if the staff members names were separated by colours according to the group their in, rather than just as one colour for all. I know that its trivial but it would help to identify team specific people, and wouldn't be that hard to do.

well, they have those little symbols, and if you look at the bottom of the home page they do kind of do that

Ya I know that, but I mean more or less for looking at the who online section. This would be use full as you could take a look say "oh x members of the w/e team are online". I don't know maybe I'm the only person who looks at that lol.

Problems with that usergroups for every team have to created rather than the standard 5. It's not as easy as simply changing colours Not to mention people cross over into other groups. I'm a VA critic, a storyboarder and a mod. People can't all be that easily categorized.

Normal users = White
Normal staff member = Green
Mod = Blue
Vice/Head of team = Red
Admin = Pink


Above is what we have currently. In order to create what you're suggesting, we'd have to do this and create this many usergroups. (not sure if it's EXACTLY like this forumotion but yeah and these are just random colours)

Normal members = White
Animation staff = Orange
Illustration staff = Green
Music Staff = Yellow
VA staff = Cyan
Script Staff = Indigo
Mods = Blue
Heads/Vice = Red
Admins = Pink

Obviously because Mod powers are something I have, I'd have to be put in the mods group, but obviously I wouldn't come up as an animation staff member then and thus need some other form of identifcation, thus my little pikachu. If I was to have ani staff colours and still have mod powers, I'd need a usergroup all to myself. So even like this there's still problems.

Personally I wouldn't mind this idea as it would certainly not be that bad barring my kind of problems, but I'm just putting forward the pros and cons of both sides.

Team specific? :/ It's hard enough to give ranks for people in multiple teams.. The staffs all have the same colour. i don't want to make usergroup for each team. >_> Too..much.

I'm thinking of changing the rank system though. Maybe ranks for heads/vice only. Then i can put multiple pokemon for teams. (like those ribbons or evo stones)

Ok, lol ... I just thought it would be easy but if it takes any work forget I said it.

Though Ezu, that rank system doesn't sound too bad! I mean, having people shown to be in multple teams like guest and I, it would certainly be awesome.
