And if it makes you feel any better, I got my SS game today, but I forgot my DS at my dorm. They won't let us on the premises for another week, so I have a useless SS game till then. >n<;

Also, to keep on topic: Anyone got the game yet that can actually play it? Lulz.

You can get a Squirtle in Yellow by talking to the officer in Vermilion City.

Anyways, you can train Squirtle by going to Diglett's Cave and just Bubble/Water Gun the Diglett and Dugtrio. They're high-leveled too so you should be getting some nice experience there.


On-topic: I <3 the new HG/SS soundtrack. I mean, I already downloaded the music before, but hearing it in-game is cool too.

Oh, one of the Prof. Oak's Aides gives it to you. To be exact, the one on Route 15 (the building before Fuschia City).

It's in the guard tower to the right of fuschia. (those buildings with a guard who wants lemonade.) go upstairs, and you should see oak's aide. If you caught 50 speies of pkmn, he'll give it to you. (long time at safari zone...)

Ugh...I want this game so bad!

It seems like the greatest pokemon game ever! It combines are the greatest elements in pokemon (except contests, but I'll ignore that. Pokethlon is cooler anyways). Catch all legendaries? So many events! And...JOHTO?!

This must be the best pokemon game ever! I SO wish I had it!!

...who am I kidding. I felt like this for Platinum, emerald and Crystal. It'll wear off soon. (just wait for the next gen XD) but...JOHTO?! This will probably still be the greatest pokemon game ever anyways, just cause it returns to johto. But by next gen, I'll be all loopy again.

But in all seriousness, you guys are REALLY lucky to get the game.
Somebody tell me how you feel And how great it is when you're playing it.

You know, after I beat the japense version () I said the same thing, i.e. this is the greatest game ever, cant wait for it to be in english, but after playing it...its still really great (still arguably the best) but the english text is a little...IDK...wonky? Some of it just doesnt flow...the games still great, but I guess since the english text is what I really had to look forward to after playing the game in japanese I guess Im a little dissapointed...guess that goes to show that it never pays to spoil a game, huh...

Currently in the National Park having just beaten Whitney [on the first try! So proud of myself that I got to kick that annoying gym leader's arse]. Got Quilava, Shiny Pichu [the promotional one], Sudowoodo, and Pidgeotto. Wanna get Espeon and Mamoswine by the end of the Johto segment as well as switch Sudowoodo for the red Gyardos .

So far, I absolutely love it!!! Though I hate how they got rid of the Lucky Channel station on the radio and really messed up the Game Corner. But otherwise, it's awesome!!

@Tweet....actually the promo pichu just let's you get another special pichu (the spikey eared variety) The Celebi that lets you fight Giovanni is a separate promotion and has yet to be released. But the Arceus has XD. That event is awesome!!! If you can't see it in game, I highly suggest you watch it on youtube and see what I mean.
