I dislike them, they are rediculous... But I'm sure everyone knows I'm not actually looking forward to B&W, but... I guess Pokabu is sorta cute... I agree with you, he's alright...

I think black and white may be too big of a change for the franchise (like how ruby/sapphire to gsc) it feels like they may be ruining it.

Only the grass one looks okay. The water starter is...ugh. And the fire pig...looks like a badly done fan-made pokemon with eyes of a cute pokemon attached.

People! Remakes. Since you all are too busy talking about movie remakes, have you guys seen the new Pokemon? Reshiram and Zekrom, the two legendaries. They both look like colorless nobodies!! And there's this Doremon guy. He's supposed to be the water-starter.
His name is Mijumaru Sad
Tsutarja - Grass (a treecko look-alike/vibrava?)
Mijumaru - Water (doremon/pikachu/piplup)
Pokabu - Fire (an orange baby grumpig)
They're all from the Isshu region Neutral
Anyway, the characters for the B&W arc (let's expect a gray arc Smile) laugh with me Neutral ) are both gangstery like (get it?)
Anyway, I have this i don't know if it's racist or "politically incorrect" (whatever that means) but... why isn't there a dark skinned Pokemon character? I'm just saying... I think it would be sooo Kawaii!

I was just about to comment on the legendaries! I guess you beat me to it!

The black legendary looks like palkia with a different colour scheme, and the white legendary looks like the black one with (OOH LOOK, WINGS!).

...they better not be the legendaries of light in darkness. Just have them be normal legendaries (who said they had to control some aspect of power? (I'm talking to you, third generation!)

I was going to say a colorless Giratina.. but Palkia works too

Hmm, the 'first' game has always held less appeal to me than the 'second' one (Silver > Gold, Sapphire > Ruby, Pearl > Diamond) but I think I'm going to go for black. Cuz black > white :p And Reshiram looks way cooler than Zekrom. Because of the snout. Even though Sekrom has that drill tail thing going on.

I also am hoping they're just legends rather some sort of controller of whatever. Especially becuse light and darkness would be wierd sine darkness is just lack of light (or light is just lack of darkness) so only one of them really exists :p

letsee, just for fun, I'll name the appeal of the games:
Red>Blue
Silver>Gold
Ruby>Sapphire
Diamond>Pearl
Black>White

and the weird thing is, that I actually own Sapphire instead of ruby, and Pearl instead of Diamond. Go figure, eh?

But of course, I believe the third game is always the best (which is why, when I have a choice between 1st, second or third, I always choose third)

I only dislike Ruby because Groudon is sooo lame. And I've never played the third ones, for some reason or other. My little brother has platinum, however, and it's not all that exciting :p

I think this time, I'm going to hold off learning too much about the game in advance of buying it and playing it since I guess I can experience that sesne of discovery for the first time since being old enough to appreciate it ... or something.

Anyway, I'm starting to think of the new Pokemon as sort of like cartoon characters now I dunno why but there's this one Pokemon who looks a lot like Bambi except she's pink And well there's also one that looks like a flying pachirisu

Another anyway, They're going to make an original character for the girl in Pokemon B&W Best Wishes right? I think that girl looks like Jasmine only with explosive hair

Eh well. For some reasons, I don't like the anime girl OC (Iris, wasn't it?). Then again, I'm glad "White" isn't gonna be ruined into some bland, Ash-sidekick, Coordinator wannabe like the two previous "heroines"...

So anyways, after doing more research, I gotta say, black and white is going for some new stuff here! (which is very good!) I'm not going to spoil anything...but man! I can't wait! (and this is the first pokemon game where I'm not going to look up the storyline...I want to be suprised when I play the game, 'specially cause they're trying something new) So yeah! This is going to rock!
