lol, WTC I know whatcha mean. When I was a kid, I had a Gameboy. Like, the brick-sized gray thing they gave out for free in happy meals. XD

I took care of that thing like it was my child, and so as a reward I was bought a "magical trumpet noises* green Gameboy Color! and what did I get with that there Gameboy Color? Why, a brand spankin new copy of Pokemon Red. And then my bro loved it, so for his b-day he got blue. When my next b-day rolled around I practically wet myself upon opening up my present to find Pokemon Yellow.

And now, whenever I talk to someone even a smidgen younger than me, I hear, "I looooove Pearl" or "Crystal is the best Pkmn game eva~"

but I don't get it...why is gold and silver considered old, and crystal isn't? ...

I still remember my birthday all those years ago when my Grandma dragging me out to the local K-mart to buy Yellow version, after weeks of hearing me crying about how unfair it was that my cousin got Blue before me.

I miss those games... Well, except for the fact Chariard couldn't learn fly (luckily I still had my Spearow~) and I pretty much only used the Rare candy cheat to lv up... but meh~
Anyone else get creamed by the Lv100+ pokemon while doing that cheat? It happened to me a lot. Always from the Golduck...

Crystal was the best version ever for me. I was such as fan of Suicune, and Eusine always made me laugh at how weird he was. I think I still have it somewhere around my house, though I doubt it works anymore. Pity... I mourn my uber Furret... TT~TT

B botton club, huh? Can't really say I'm a huge fan of that. I love unevolved pokemon with all their cuteness but their stats... THEY MAKE ME WEEP! ;~;`
The only pokemon I'll never evolve are my Sneasel (Shio) and Scyther (Sykicle). I'd die before evolving them! *snuggles against the two little monsters happily*

Awww, the originals I had Red, and Yellow and I was so cool! I don't remember what game it was, but for one of them I stayed up all night earning money from the Game Corner in order to get a Dratini --it was epic!

And now that I'm done with finals, I can play SoulSilver again!!

On a different note, has anyone else noticed the forum going wonky? It only happens when someone quotes someone else. It makes the background post box thing-y disappear and it turns that post all purple....Maybe it's just my computer *pokes*

yeps, pretty much the same here. but i just go urrgggh when eusine shows up. but i rejoice at my rival's appearance. somehow i was a fan of silver without knowing it then. hahaha.

Actually, just my Torchic. I let everything else evolve. I was just amused by the tiny bird that looked like it only had one foot kicking the pants off everything that came its way.

augh i have not been on in days
Mum basically took my computer and said, "STUDY FOR THE AP RABBLERABBLERABBLE"
And I have TWO MORE TO TAKE STILL. Luckily she can't make me study for English. There's really no way to cram for English. But Biology is gonna be brutal. ;-;
And I still have another three weeks of school left.
Apparently Ezu hasn't been on in days, either. We missed you, Ezu~ >> I missed all of ya.

I liked (the parts I got to of) all the last games... it's just that I usually don't see everything through a set of nostalgia goggles. If I had to pick a favorite, it might actually be Platinum. Or HeartGold. As they make improvements I actually think the games get better. o_O Crazy I know.
