I have no focus and can hardly complete an application let alone even get an application to begin with.My crippling shyness prevents me from being able to ask for one. so I mostly apply online but then theres no way of knowing if where I'm applying is even hiring and it really sucks because I really need my own computer and lots of other stuff to be helpful to this project.

I work at Outback Steakhouse. First as a busser, and then as a Takeaway Server, and this summer I'll be training as a server. I've been there for about three years. >w> I also literally just applied for a job at the Borders nearby.

So yea. Not really dough rolling in, but trickling slowly. The trick is to have people you know. XD I got into Outback cuz my dad was a server, but they promoted me quick cuz i worked hard.

Wow you guys are talking about jobs. ._.; I dunno if I'd be any good...I've never even tried, or really thought about, getting a job...I love my free time too much and it's kinda hard for me to get around places 'cause I can't drive yet. =_=;

Which will make my honor student status stand out. Well... it would if I were an honor student. I didn't get into NHS because I hadn't done enough service FOR THE VOCAL DEPARTMENT AT SCHOOL. Which I don't even care about, at all. What a crappy specific service requirement. Tch. 4.2 and not in the honor society.

But yes, I can indeed scoop ice cream. That is one thing I am skilled enough to do and have experience with, having put ice cream in a bowl before. (Never in a little paper cup, though. O: )
Not that I'm so eager to give up my copious free time (Doing nothing is my favorite pastime!), but I just need the money so I can buy stuff to do in the copious free time I'm giving up.

who said you need connections to get a job?XDDD (2/3 of her jobs are self gotten.) well even if i said that, my first job was like the worst... macdonalds, slaving people off with the low pay they give. First day of work I was washing toilet bowls with shit overflowing from it because the flush spoilt. I even remember the water splashing on my face that time, urgh... but oh well i got the money and bought my first tablet with it, so whateverXDD And plus, there's almost zero chance of a person getting jobs around here when they are 15, only macdonalds hires 15 year olds here unless you have connections, which sucks of courseDX 2nd job was boring shizz with all the packaging and such, it was gotten due to a friend. third was the best one I've got so far, sales. Man gotta love doing sales, all you gotta do is talk and be hyperactive and tada job doneXDDD (apparently when i asked my employers they told me the reason why I was hired was cos I was being hyperactive>W>), I got that job while accompanying a friend when she's shopping (i dun buy stuff cuz im poor and shizz), luckyXDD

tho, I'd admit jobs with connections usually pay better>W> (like another easy job ive gotten last holiday which pays like sg$100 per day<w<, tho i could only work a day cos i had orientation that timeDX)

other methods to earn money and all (living conditions make the man..woman, whatever), submit artwork to local paper's art section and get paid for it (not much tho, just around $15 a piece for a weekly thing, so only $60 a month. so it's more like a side thing...) make merchandise to sell during anime/manga/cosplay events, got like $100+ (tho profit is only $80 bucks, and my friend accidentally/intentionally(idk) took $25 bucks from it due to some confusion... and i havent been able to tell her due to school and such so im just letting it go orz) after i sold everything out, planning to sell stuff again during this year's cosfest eventXDDD and lastly, for me one of the most effective method is to work hard for school and get scholarships/bursaries in monetary form>8D *just gotten her bursary money yaaay*

tho, my school leeches so much of my money... just paying for my laptop and intuos 3 drained my pay to nothing last time.. (plus my mom keeps borrowing money from me and not returning it... )

Connections do help. xD I heard about my first job from a friend, but it wasn't the reason I got hired.
I worked as a kindergarten teacher, tution teacher and something leaflet giver (?) before. Nice experience and money~~ xD
I don't prefer to work at shops.. You have to work on weekends D: and looong hours. But office jobs seem boring.

I need had a job with pay. I never had a got paying for job before. So I still looking and I got no call back in over a year. I miss school at least then I had something to do all day. I spent too must time on this forum. I want a JOB I have no luck finding job in over a year or seice I got back from college a year ago.

Ohhhh, I like the girl's design. A lot. From screencaps I was afraid she'd look too much like Dawn, as she seemed to have black hair and be wearing pink with a black vest. But she's NOT! She looks like a bucket of awesome.
