Assume the bus is driving on the left hand side of the road. Is it going left or right, and tell me WHHHYYYYY! (it's a 50:50 chance so you could just guess this, but I need proof that you're as smart as me *shot*)

The direction it's going is forward because no matter which direction it goes, it will have moved from where it started and gained positive velocity.

How about this? Regardless of what side of the road it is on, the bus might be stopped to pick up passengers, or parked. Therefore, it's not moving at all, and gives no indication that it is doing so.

Actually, It's going right, moving or not. We can tell because you can't see the door, and the door is on left side. (Assuming it drives on the left)
