I know I showed you the Alice one he (Pogo) did, and you didn't really like it, but this one is Up themed, and Dug even gets a small solo, lulz.

Also, after reconsideration, I think Up is a rather good movie, though I still like HTTYD better. Finding Nemo was very good too now that I think back on it.

the first thing that wowed me about httyd is that it has amazing textures, look at the hair, the cloth, the ship, totally more realistic as compared to pixar if you ask meXDD

tho, that remix of up is really cool>W<~*faves*

Well, Pixar doesn't try to be that realistic it tends to stay true to classic animation route.

Yes, indeed Up is a good movie. I think it's a little hard to compare them, though, because I love both, I don't want to choose. Also, did you hear? They're making a second HTTYD, a tv series and a show for one of the theme parks! I'm very excited right now! (i just hope they don't over do it like Shrek -.-')

I'm glad you like it Dirk! I really like Pogo. He was getting in trouble for using Disney's movies for his songs, so they made him a deal of some sort, and this was the first official thing he made for them.

umm, vaguely. The way my friends and I saw it, it could be more episodic like a tv series, rather than movie like, but eh... Then again, if they decided to use an idea from one of the books, it could work (Not that i know anything about the plot of the books *shot*)

I always assumed by the title, that it was some fictious guide on how to actually train your dragon. When I heard a movie was to be made, and heard are the characters and stuff, I assumed it was added in for Hollywood. (I remember thinking, well, here's another shameless Hollywood adaption) *shot

actually you are somewhat correct, while the book has a plot it is an adaptation in that the most similar thing between the two is the title. and the movie is much Much better in my opinion.

Hmmm, in MY opinion, HTTYD did end on a somewhat sequelish note, but that's just me and my fangirly-ness talking. XD They can't make a sequel for this movie without ruining everything.

i don't know if you should joy-joy. :/ I read the book awhile ago and i didn't like it and, if the commercials hadn't looked so awesome, I wouldn't have gone to see the movie. I mean the book wasn't horrible, just increbily so-so. *shrug*

That being said, I haven't actually read the rest of the series, so I couldn't tell you if it get better...

My sister said she read the first two or three books and they weren't very good. I mean, these are YYA (young young adult, lol) books we are talking about here. Think Diary of a Wimpy Kid with Dragons. :/
